Shakespeare's Globe comes to Melbourne
AAP
Melburnians will be transported back to Tudor times when Shakespeare's famous Globe theatre comes to the city in September.
The pop-up theatre seats 900 people and will be an exact replica of the London theatre, which was used to stage the bard's productions.
Construction of theatre next to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl begins in August and the first performance will be held in September.
