SA woman extradited to Vic over murder

A South Australian woman charged with the murder of a Melbourne pensioner more than a decade ago is due to face court after being extradited to Victoria.
The body of Elia Abdelmessih, 69, was found in the front foyer of his Kew East home in 2005.
He'd been beaten to death with a heavy, blunt object.

The blood of a woman was found at the scene and police on Thursday arrested a 35-year-old woman in South Australia and charged her with murder.
She will face the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday.
