Probe into Vic education graft allegations

Allegations of serious corruption in the education sector will be investigated by Victoria's anti-corruption commission.

Public examinations into corruption at the Department of Education and Training will be held by the independent broad-based anti-corruption commission (IBAC) from next month.

IBAC will look at the alleged allocation of funds to schools for goods and services that were not always provided, and alleged misuse of department funds.
