Two Victoria Police officers charged with drugs, theft and proceeds of crime

Two Victorian police officers have been charged with drug trafficking and theft.

The senior constable and constable were charged after an investigation by the Professional Standards Command.

Both men were charged with possessing proceeds of crime, trafficking a drug of dependence, theft and misconduct in public office.

They have been suspended without pay.

The pair will front the Melbourne Magistrates Court on February 24.
