Mystery surrounds missing Vic mum

MYSTERY SURROUNDS THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MISSING BENDIGO MUM OF FOUR SAMANTHA KELLY:

WHAT WE KNOW:

* Ms Kelly was last seen on January 20 but only reported missing two weeks later by her brother.

* Her four children were being cared for by friends she shared a house with near Bendigo.

* Children now being cared for by Ms Kelly's brother Michael Kelly and his partner Danielle Stevenson.

* Police believe she may have met foul play after missing her youngest child's first birthday.

* She hasn't used phone, social media or bank accounts.

* Up to ten people have been questioned.

ON SOCIAL MEDIA:

* Picture posted on Facebook of the children, all with shaved heads.

* Ms Stevenson claims they're confused because their names have been changed and they've been calling another woman mum.

* Ms Kelly's friends say she would not have changed her children's names, especially given they are tattooed on her forearm.

MEDIA REPORTS:

* Ms Kelly's housemate Christine Lyons is related to some or all of the children's fathers.

* Ms Kelly's other housemates include Ms Lyons' ex-husband and Ms Lyons' new partner.

* Ms Lyons didn't report disappearance because she wouldn't want someone dobbing her in while she sorted her depression out.
