Victoria schoolboy, 10, dies after becoming trapped in car boot during game of hide and seek
A young boy who died after becoming trapped in a car boot in Victoria during soaring temperatures has been identified as 10-year-old Bentley.
Cobram schoolboy Bentley has been remembered by loved ones as "inquisitive, car loving, neurodiverse and minecraft enthusiastic" after his death on Sunday.
Bentley had been playing hide and seek in Mooroopna, near Shepparton, about 3.20pm, when he climbed into the boot of a car, his aunt said.

In an online fundraiser started for Bentley's family, his "devastated" aunt Lainey said his loved ones are heartbroken by the loss.
"In a tragic end to a game of hide and seek, our world stopped," she said.
"As a family, our hearts are broken as we try to find some sense in a place that no longer feels whole."
Lainey said the tragedy followed the death of Bentley's grandmother just two weeks earlier.
"As you could understand, the heartache and costs of dealing with the loss of one family member is numbing, let alone losing a second in such a short time frame," she said.

Another of Bentley's aunts, Steph, described her nephew as "the shining star in all our lives".
"Your smile is infectious, your laughter contagious, and [your] sense of uncanny adventure is courageous," she wrote on social media.
It remains unknown how long the child was in the boot before being found.
Temperatures in the Mooroopna area on Sunday reached 35 degrees on Sunday afternoon.
Victoria Police told 9news.com.au a report is being prepared for the coroner following the death of a boy at a property in Mooroopna on December 15.
His death is not believed to be suspicious.
