Melbourne cools down with giant waterslide in Federation Square

Melburnians will be able to cool down while slipping and sliding in the CBD for the next 10 days, with a giant waterslide in Federation Square.

The 75m slide opened yesterday and has already attracted hundreds of visitors.

The blue and pink slide has been set up in time for the worst of Melbourne summer.

The city is forecast to reach a top of 32 degrees today.
