Melbourne adds non-stop Vancouver flights

Canada's doorstep will become a lot closer for travellers jetting out of Melbourne, with direct flights to Vancouver soon to come.
Air Canada will run three non-stop flights between the Victorian capital and Vancouver each week from June 2018, the first carrier to offer a direct service between the two cities.
The direct flight, which clocks in at between 15 and 16 hours each way, will cut down travel time because passengers won't have to take a connecting service to Sydney or Brisbane before crossing the Pacific.
