Man stabbed in stomach in Melbourne

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the stomach in Melbourne's southeast.

Police and emergency services were called to a home in Noble Park at around 10.50pm on Friday to find the injured 30-year-old who was taken to The Alfred Hospital.

A 35-year-old Noble Park man was arrested at the scene and is being questioned by police.

It is believed that both men are known to each other, police said.
