Man seriously injured in stabbing at Melbourne unit block

A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after he was stabbed at an apartment block in Port Melbourne early today.
Emergency services were called to the unit block about 2.30am and found the man with stab wounds to his chest, stomach and arms, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.

He was transported to The Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police investigations are ongoing.
