A man accused of punching a pregnant woman in the stomach during a fit of road rage returns to court next month.
Police allege David Cutt, 37, crossed four lanes of traffic and ploughed head-on into a car occupied by the pregnant woman and her partner in the November incident in Melbourne.
He is then alleged to have approached the pair, punching and kicking them several times in the head and body.

Last year, Cutt's lawyer told the Melbourne Magistrates Court his client may have been in a psychotic state.
Cutt, of Tullamarine, was mentioned in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
His matters, which include 28 charges in relation to dangerous driving and assault offences, were adjourned to February 11.
