Man five times over limit in Melbourne

A man has been caught drink-driving more than five times over the legal limit in west Melbourne.

A 30-year-old man was breath-tested when highway patrol officers discovered a car had veered off the road and crashed into a concrete barrier about 4.45pm on Monday.

The Yarraville man returned a positive breath test at the scene and then blew .34 at a police station, officers said.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink-driving and other charges.
