Man dies in Geelong fence collapse

A man has died after a fence fell on him at a Geelong property.

The man is believed to have been working on a fence at the front of the property when it collapsed on him, police say.

Ambulance Victoria say they were called to the place in Culbin Avenue in Belmont just after 2pm on Tuesday.

Worksafe Victoria will investigate the incident and police are yet to notify his next of kin.
