Man dies in Vic shooting

A gunman remains on the run after man was shot dead in Melbourne.

The shooting is believed to have occurred in the Broadmeadows area on Tuesday night.

A man was found with life-threatening injuries in Dallas shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday and died at the scene.

Police say he could have been shot at a different location.
