Man dies after Vic three-car collision

A man has died after his car collided with two vehicles on a highway in Melbourne's south-east.

The man's car crossed a median strip on the Princess Highway and hit two cars about 12.45pm on Sunday.

Two women sustained non-life threatening, while a third driver was uninjured.

Police have closed Princes Highway in both directions between the South Gippsland Freeway and the Hallam Belgrave Road.

Victoria's road toll stands at 181, compared to last year's total of 206.
