Housemate in court over stabbing death

A man found covered in blood in a Melbourne property will face court charged with his housemate's murder.

Gary Sean O'Connor, 53, is charged with one count of murder after another man was found with stab wounds at a Springvale boarding house on Wednesday.

O'Connor faced an out of sessions bail hearing on Wednesday night and was remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
