Homeless man stumbles into sports bar after being stabbed by teenagers

A homeless man has stumbled into a sports bar in regional Victoria with multiple stab wounds after he was set upon by teenagers in a laneway.
Emergency services were called to the venue on Hargreaves Street in Bendigo at 9pm yesterday.

The 41-year-old man was treated by paramedics before he was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds in a serious condition.
Police believe the victim, who has been living on the streets, was set upon by up to six offenders, believed to be teenagers, following a fight in nearby Bath Lane.
The man made his way from the laneway to the sports bar and sought help after the offenders fled the scene.
Police searched the area but failed to find them.
Officers viewed CCTV, have spoken with witnesses and are appealing for anyone who has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
The investigation remains ongoing and detectives are expected to revisit the area today.
