Hazelwood equipment to be auctioned

Parts of Victoria's defunct Hazelwood coal-fired power station will be auctioned online.

Items ranging from shipping containers and motors to computers and rigging equipment will go under the hammer on September 5, with all bids starting at $25, auction organiser Liquidity Services said in a statement on Monday.

Hazelwood, in the Latrobe Valley, closed in late March after 52 years of production.
