Former teacher charged over sexual assault

A former Victorian teacher has been charged over historical alleged sexual assaults.

The offences, which involve a number of victims, are alleged to have occurred in 1971 when the man was a teacher at a Dandenong high school.

The 79-year-old Inverloch man was charged with one count of buggery and 14 counts of gross indecency and bailed to appear at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
