Four men and a woman accused of trafficking almost four tonnes of a depressant drug will face a Melbourne court on Wednesday.
Elizabetha Trimboli, Munir Omer, Omar Bchinnati, Khaled Moustafa and Patrick Formosa are due to appear for a committal mention hearing in Melbourne Magistrates Court charged with trafficking a large quantity of illicit drugs.
They were charged after June police raids in Melbourne seized 3.8 tonnes of the depressant 1,4-butanediol - which mimics the effects of GHB - as well as 6kg of ecstasy, 3kg of ice, 15kg of dried cannabis, and cash.
