Two thieves posing as good Samaritans in Melbourne have stolen a man's wallet and tried to skim hundreds from his bank account.
The man and woman pretended to help the man when his vehicle broke down at Ashwood, but made off with his wallet instead.
They used his credit cards at a fast food restaurant and service station before approaching a bank teller and trying to withdraw several hundred dollars.
