Double the trouble for two Vic drivers

It was double the trouble for two drivers caught racing each other and doing more than twice the speed limit in Melbourne.

Two late model sedans were detected by police racing along Plenty Road in Bundoora at 145km/h in a 70 zone at 6pm on Sunday.

Both cars have been impounded and the drivers, a 19-year-old from Reservoir and a 21-year-old from Wollert, will be charged with numerous speeding offences.
