Body of man with suspected burns found by passerby in Melbourne's east

Victorian police are investigating after a man’s body was found with suspected burns in Melbourne’s east.

The yet-to-be identified man was found by a passerby in parkland near Chaim Court in Donvale about 4.20pm.

Arson Squad detectives are set to attend the scene, as the circumstances around the man’s death are determined.

Police say the man may have been sleeping rough in the area, as he appears to have no fixed address.
