Daughter finds father dead in Victoria home

A man's body has been discovered by his adult daughter in a house in Melbourne's outskirts.

The woman discovered her 53-year-old father dead at his home on Collins Street in Sunbury on Monday at 3:30pm.

Police have yet to determine the exact cause of death.

They have notified homicide squad detectives as a precaution and will await the results of a post mortem.
