Caravan, car in flames after Vic crash

Two Queensland men have escaped serious injury after their car crashed into a caravan in a suburban Melbourne street, with both vehicles bursting into flames.

The 24-year-old driver and his passenger, also 24, managed to escape from the wreckage when they lost control of their car and it smashed into the caravan in Thornbury early on Friday morning.

Both men suffered minor injuries, while the sedan and the caravan burst into flames, police said.
