Detectives have arrested Victorian man Murat Shomshe, who allegedly skipped bail while on his honeymoon.

Murat Shomshe, 33, was granted weekend release after telling Victorian County Court judge Richard Maidment he wouldn't get his $6000 deposit back if his wedding was cancelled.

Judge Maidment expressed concerns before releasing Shomshe on a $10,000 surety to marry his sweetheart in front of 473 guests on July 26, despite opposition from police.
