Body found in Melbourne southeast

The death of a woman whose body was found after reports of a fire at a residence in Melbourne's southeast is being treated as suspicious.

The woman aged in her 50s was found dead on Tuesday night in Sheales Street, Dandenong.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's death are yet to be established and homicide detectives are en route to the scene.
