Axe wielding carjackers in Melbourne

Axe-wielding carjackers in Melbourne have rammed a car, threatened the driver and passenger before stealing their vehicle.

The 21-year-old driver and his passenger were in Springvale on Monday night when they were struck from behind by a stolen Toyota with two men inside, police said on Wednesday.

One of the men then threatened the victims with an axe before stealing the car. Both men are described as Caucasian.
