Armed trio wanted over Vic jewellery heist

Three armed, masked men have threatened staff and smashed glass cabinets in a daylight jewellery heist in Melbourne.

The trio entered the Toorak Road store armed with a machete, a firearm and what is believed to be a hammer at 10.40am on Tuesday, police say.

Jewellery was stolen from the store but no one was injured.
