A Melbourne woman will be hoping bad luck doesn't come in threes after she was robbed twice in two weeks.
A man on a mountain bike snatched her bag while she was walking to her Hoppers Crossing home, in Melbourne's southwest on May 23.
She refused to let go and attacked the thief before he punched her in the face and made off with the bag.

Police say the man is in his 20s and is of Islander appearance.
The woman's house was then broken into and robbed on June 3.
