Two suspected Apex gang members arrested days after Melbourne riot

Two men, believed to be affiliated with the gang at the centre of the riot in Melbourne's CBD over the weekend, have been arrested in relation to a series of alleged car-jackings.
Police, including members from the Special Operations Group, arrested an 18-year-old Noble Park man and 18-year-old Dandenong man in Dandenong yesterday afternoon.
It is believed the men are affiliated with the Apex gang, alleged to be involved in a recent spate of serious offences including aggravated burglary, car-jackings and armed robberies.
One of the men received injuries during the arrest when he was struck by a police vehicle and has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The other man is assisting police with their inquiries.
