Two hospitalised after Bundaberg shooting

Two people are in hospital after being shot at a home in Bundaberg.

A man and a woman were confronted by two men as they were entering the Targo Street home on Friday night.

A number of shots were fired, with the 36-year-old woman receiving a gunshot wound to her leg.

The two intruders then fled the scene, with one, a 55-year-old man, later found in McIlwraith Street with a gunshot wound to the back of his neck.

Both injuries have been described as non-life threatening.
