Morning traffic chaos as two car crash blocks Sydney Harbour Bridge

Two cars have collided on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, causing traffic chaos for early-morning commuters.

Police said the crash occurred about 5.30am (AEDT) on the bridge.

Commuters are being urged to use the Sydney Harbour Tunnel to avoid the crash which is causing major traffic delays.

Work is now underway to clear the damaged cars.
