Turnbull says 'yeah nah' to Abbott speedos
For Malcolm Turnbull, thinking of Tony Abbott in a pair of budgie smugglers is a case of "yeah, nah".
The prime minister weighed into his predecessor's choice of swimwear when he appeared on morning television on Tuesday.
Asked to play a game of choosing between "yeah" and "yeah, nah", Mr Turnbull chose the latter when asked to rate the famous red speedos.
"I honestly think he has a great body, he is very fit," he said of Mr Abbott on the Nine Network.
"But I do think that politicians should stay fully clad at all times."
Mr Turnbull was more generous when it comes to their pair's mutual love of wearing leather jackets.
"Everyone is entitled to rock a leather jacket when they want. It is a free country," he said.
He voted "yeah" to having dinner with Labor leader Bill Shorten and avocado smash on toast but is not a fan of having pineapple on his pizzas.
He also chose to diplomatically back Donald Trump.
