Truck full of live turkeys rolls on Sydney freeway

A truck carrying a load of live turkeys has crashed on the M1 Pacific Motorway in Sydney’s north overnight.
Police and the RSPCA responded to the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga shortly before 6.30pm yesterday after the truck rolled on its side.
The driver, aged in his late 50s, was unharmed.

The condition of the turkeys is not known.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
