Truck fire on western Sydney motorway causing major delays
Motorists in western Sydney are facing delays today as emergency services respond to multiple crashes and a vehicle fire on three of the city's busiest roads.
A truck fire on the M7 at Eastern Creek has forced all of the southbound lanes to close.
The male driver, aged in his 50s, managed to escape before emergency services arrived around 5am. He has been treated for minor injuries.

Motorists are being advised to expect major delays and avoid the area.
Those already travelling south on the M7 can exit at the Great Western Highway and use Wallgrove Road.
Motorists coming from the M4 to head south on the M7 can also use Wallgrove Road.
There's also a three car crash on the M4 westbound at Prospect, and another truck fire on the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek.
