There are extensive traffic delays in Sydney’s north this morning after a crash on the M1 motorway near Wahroonga.

Traffic is queued more than 13 kilometres after a truck and car collided near Edgeworth David Avenue just before 7am.

All lanes have recently reopened after emergency crews were on scene to clear the crash site and attend to a large glass spill across two southbound lanes.

Southbound traffic is still extremely heavy and motorists are advised to expect significant delays.
