Melanie Perkins & Cliff Obrecht are the husband and wife cofounders of design software Canva.
They have a combined fortune of $13.62 billion.
28 tech moguls made the list this year, including fintech entrepreneurs and crypto gambling billionaires.
8. Andrew Forrest
Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest is the executive chairman of mining operation Fortescue.
With an interest in green energy and massive mining profits, Forrest's net worth sits at approximately $16.76 billion.
5. Scott Farquhar
Tech Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar recently stepped down as joint chief executive.
The tech mogul is still believed to have a net worth of around $22.88 billion.
4. Anthony Pratt
Anthony Pratt is the Executive Chairman of Visy Asia-Pacific, a major packaging and recycling business.
With manufacturing interests around the world, he's got an estimated wealth of $23.30 billion.
3. Mike Cannon-Brookes & Annie Cannon-Brookes
Joint third place goes to the tech billionaire and Rabbitohs co-owner Mike Cannon-Brookes, alongside his former partner Annie Cannon-Brookes.
Their combined assets of $24.38 billion dollars have not yet been divided since they separated last year.
2. Harry Triguboff
Second place Triguboff is worth an estimated $26.49 billion as of today.
The Meriton property mogul Harry Triguboff missed out on first place by $14 billion.
1. Gina Rinehart
Gina Rinehart has been officially named the richest Australian for the fifth year running, according to the 2024 Financial Review Rich List.
Gina Rinehart's wealth grew by $3 billion since this time last year, thanks to a rising market valuation of her mining companies.
That makes her the first Australian ever to break the $40 billion barrier.
Her total wealth is estimated at $40.61 billion as of this year.
