The workers who are paid best though are the project directors, who on average are clearing more than $280,000 a year.

Property has always been a hot industry in Australia, but soaring prices and huge government demand for more supply means there is a lot of work to do.
Construction managers come in as the ninth-highest paid job in the country, making around $320k per annum.

As part of the C-suite, chief procurement officers are responsible for cutting the deals that will ensure business is good - and profitable - in the future.
As a result, they earn a suitable C-suite wage of more than $450k a year.

Being the chief money spinner in any corporation is a high-paying (and high stress) role. But none more so than Heads of Treasury, who can clear more than $510,000.
