A Victorian dad without a driver's licence didn't let that stop him from visiting his local bottle-o, opting instead to pull into the drive-through on horseback.

Eathon White has been using his steed, Fox, as his main mode of transport about town and figured he'd give it a crack one evening on his way home from work.

"The young bloke in the bottle-o sort of turned his head and went, 'What the hell is that?'" Eathon told Today.

"And I said, 'Yeah mate, you're looking at it - a horse in a drive-through bottle-o."'

After popping his two cans of rum and coke into each of his pockets, Eathon set off, with his 13-year-old daughter riding on the back.

"It's good value and the kids want to do the next adventure, which is the Macca's drive-through," he said.

"They want to ride on the railway line back into town and then go back up the other way so they get a good ride in and visit the local Macca's."
