Well, it is officially a monster movie.

The new Spidey film is on track to potentially claim the crown as the biggest box office hit in history.

After taking a quarter of a billion US dollars on its opening weekend in the States, Spiderman: No Way Home has absolutely smashed the Australian box office.

The biggest movie opening since the pandemic and the biggest day of any Spiderman movie ever.

This comes as Marvel president, Kevin Feige, revealed that another Spidey sequel is already in development saying: "We're actively beginning to develop where the story heads next."

Queen guitarist, Brian May has got COVID-19.

He and his wife, Anita tested positive after attending a party but he hasn't lost his sense of humour though posting a video update online on the situation.

"Well, I just wanted to show you that you can actually play guitar after COVID-19," the star said.

"Probably helps if you could play guitar before. Nevertheless, here's an old friend it."

May said it seemed like a safe situation and despite returning multiple negative tests, they didn't wear masks as they thought they were in a safe bubble.
