Amber Heard has launched her appeal against the judgment that ordered her to pay Johnny Depp more than $10 million.
In a statement from the filing, the actress said that the trial was flawed because the jury could award damages based on statements or conduct occurring prior to the publication of the challenged op-ed.

And in some rather strange news this morning, Bruno Mars has removed his band 'Silk Sonic' from next year's Grammy consideration.
In his statement announcing the decision, Bruno said it would be crazy to ask for anything more, but that he would be attending next year's Grammys and was excited to celebrate music.
'Silk Sonic' has already won four Grammys and performed at this year's ceremony, so I'm not quite sure what the issue is for next year.
But, I would like to take this opportunity to remove Today from any Grammy considerations as well.
