'What's your vibe Santa?': Today hosts gauge if they made the nice list

With Christmas just two weeks away, there's only one question on everyone's mind right now - did I make Santa's nice list?

Well the one person who can answer that is the man in red himself, who flew in fresh from the North Pole to chat with the Today hosts at Nine's North Sydney studios.

"As far as the naughty or nice list, I've got three kids at home Billy, Betty and Leo and they want to know how to get back onto the nice list, if you've been on the naughty list - can you make the jump in 15 days?" host David Campbell asked.

And thankfully, for any little ones who have been testing their parents' limits this year, Santa confirmed they can change their ways all the way up to Christmas Eve and still make it onto his nice list.

"They've got to be nice and do some really good things and be very kind to other people, especially mums and dads and other grown-ups," Santa said.

And to avoid getting their name on the controversial naughty list, Santa said the biggest thing was to listen.

"Listening to grown-ups, listening to teachers and to their peers," he said.

"They don't always realise, but I'm always watching, I do have the naughty and nice inspector badge, so I'm out there and I'm always watching."

Nine Entertainment editor Richard Wilkins popped by to say hello to Santa and suss out if he was on the naughty or nice list.

"I just wanted to say hi Santa, how are you?" he asked, taking a seat on Santa's lap.

"Naughty or nice? What's your vibe backstage? Have you been inspecting me?"
