'Absolutely not': Miley Cyrus' mum shuts down question immediately

Brandi Cyrus and Tish Cyrus-Purcell are part of one of the most famous families in the world.

But while the mother-daughter duo may dish a whole heap of spicy details on their personal lives in their podcast Sorry We're Cyrus, they revealed there's a very good reason they'd never appear in a reality format akin to The Kardashians.

"Absolutely not," Tish said without even thinking about it.

"Honestly, that just sounds like so much work, I admire any family who does that - but I just think we would have such a boring show."

Brandi seconded that, saying good luck to any producers trying to get the entire family in a room together at the same time.

"I think we're more boring than people would like to know to be honest," she said.

"But I also think what's incredible about my brothers and sisters is we all work so hard and have big careers we're each very passionate about it, we have crazy schedules, so truly getting everybody in the same room is close to impossible.

"I can't imagine doing it for an entire season."

Brandi's siblings include sisters, Miley and Noah, as well as brothers Trace, Chris and Braison, all of whom have successful music careers.

And of course Tish's ex, Billy Ray Cyrus, is one of the best known names in the country music world.

While fans may not get to be a fly on the wall with a Kardashian-esque reality show, Tish and Brandi's podcast is just as good - if not better.

"There really aren't any topics which are off-limits," Brandi said.

"It's funny, I think my mum has always been that way with all of us girls, we all feel like we can kind of tell her anything, so we've always just had that BFF relationship alongside her being mum."

Sorry We're Cyrus is currently in its fifth season and is available to download where all good podcasts are.
