Kanye West has officially been banned from Australia after the US singer-songwriter released an anti-Semitic song that glorifies Hitler.

The rapper held a tourist visa that's valid for up to a year that he'd been using to visit the family of his Australian wife, Bianca Censori, who are based in Melbourne.

He has got a long history of anti-Semitic comments that the government had been watching, but the release of that song back in May triggered a visa review, with Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke saying "we have enough challenges in Australia without directly importing hate."
