DC and Sylvia return for Today Extra
Today Extra is back for an exciting 2025 and viewers were thrilled to see the big, beautiful smiles of hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys back on their screens.
The pair enjoyed a well-earned break and were rested and ready to go for another big year of news, fun and entertainment.
"I'm relaxed, you know I've had a break, have I missed anything? Who's the president now?" DC joked with Sylvia and Today hosts, Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo.

The pair also shared how happy they were Sarah was on the road to recovery after an appendicitis scare forced her to pull out of Carols By Candlelight hosting duties at the 11th hour.
"I missed you so much, you did such a good job carrying that whole show on your own," Sarah told DC.
DC's co-host Sylvia seconded that, applauding his solo efforts on the night.
"It was a brilliant watch, we loved it, you were terrific and most importantly, we're glad you're well Sarah," she said.
