Today hosts find out what makes the perfect custard tart
The humble custard tart often gets a bad wrap when it comes to a visit to the bakery, with the sweet, wobbly treat overlooked for more visually appealing baked goods.
But a pair of Aussie mates are on a mission to reignite the nation's interest in the dessert.
Dylan and Tom have been traversing the country with their social media page, The Custard Boys, promoting the best of the best at local bakeries everywhere.

"It was hidden away for such a long time and no one really looked at it, just sitting in the display cabinet and no one actually wanted it, so we're trying to bring that back because people should enjoy a custard tart - they are a beautiful thing to eat,' Dylan told Today.
The boys said structural integrity was key to finding a great tart and that you don't want a pastry that is just going to fall apart after the first bite.
"You've got your set custard tart and then your baked custard tart and the set custard tart is cheap," Tom said.
"It's like the set custard tart is bought off Temu, it's cheap, it's easy - whatever, but then you've got the baked custard tart which has no jiggle, so that's where the money is."

And as for those who argue whether it's nutmeg or cinnamon which belongs sprinkled on top - they had the following to say.
"At the end of the day, we think it's cinnamon," Tom said.
"Australians don't really do nutmeg, it's just eggnog that I know nutmeg goes with, although we're definitely not bakers though, so we can't really say."
It seems custard tarts are a bit of a rarity in bakeries these days, with the Today producers only able to track down some Portuguese tarts to accompany this morning's segment.
But that didn't stop news presenter, Iza Staskowski from getting stuck into them.
"We've got three left, one for birthday boy Dan and who wants the rest," she said.
