'Cinderella' star's special message to Brooke Boney
After interviewing the cast of Cinderella, Today entertainment presenter Brooke Boney was surprised with a very special message from one of the film's stars.
Billy Porter who plays the iconic role of Fairy Godmother wanted to do something nice for Brooke - who like many New South Wales residents - is in lockdown.

The fabulous Billy Porter surprised Brooke with a personal message. Today
"Hello, Brooke. It is your fabulous godmother, AKA the Fab G," Porter said, smiling widely.
"I know you have been in lockdown, so to brighten up your day, I will be delivering a special package your way so you can be a shining star too."
Weather presenter Tim Davies then brought out a pair of sparkly high heels.

As he knelt to slip them on Brooke's feet Today host Karl Stefanovic said, "You deserve that Brookey. You work so hard."
Brooke was stoked with the gift.
"Thank you guys, this is like Christmas. Thank you to my fairy godmother," she said.
