Ann Wills was reluctant to face the media as she left today's session of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Sydney.

Ms Wills was a consultant to former billionaire Nathan Tinkler's Newcastle development arm, Buildev.

Today, her text messages were revealed in which she referred to former ALP Member for Newcastle Jodi McKay as a "princess" and told a colleague she was "on my way home to put the b---- in the freezer."

Ms Wills claimed it was a joke, referring to former federal MP Belinda Neal's practice of putting photos of her political enemies on ice.

The ICAC has heard Nathan Tinkler's Buildev wanted to undermine Ms McKay because she supported a proposal for a container terminal, which would have threatened their plans for a coal loader.

Ann Wills, known as former Labor minister Joe Tripodi's "eyes and ears" in Newcastle, today admitted to being part of a dirty tricks campaign against Jodi McKay.

Former Buildev executive David Sharpe also fronted the inquiry, admitting he was also out to get rid of Jodi McKay.

The inquiry continues.
