Sydney man charged over stabbing of three siblings

A man has been charged over the alleged stabbing of three siblings in an alleged domestic dispute at a western Sydney home overnight. 

Police were called to the Bungarribee home about 11.30pm yesterday, and found two brothers and a sister with stab wounds, the NSW Police Force said in a statement.

The brothers, aged 22 and 24, had stomach wounds, and their 29-year-old sister had cuts to her arm.

They were taken to Westmead Hospital and both men required surgery. All three siblings remain in a stable condition in hospital, police said.

A 57-year-old man, who News Ltd reports is believed to be the stepfather of the siblings, was also arrested at the Henry Kater Avenue home and was taken to Blacktown Hospital under police guard for treatment to facial injuries.

He has since been released from hospital and charged with three counts of wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm, police said.

He has been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court later today.
